Spare a dollar ma'am?
Help me find my way?
These simple phrases
I hear everyday
By people who are
hurting The hole they
need to fill
The emply place within
their hearts
With thiings they think
are real
When it came my turn
To hear his cry
I did not stop
I passed him by
For the man I saw
I promised to pray
And call on Jesus
To help him find his way
Then night came
I went to bed
Exhausted and tired
I'd forgotten what I said
Then in a dream
Jesus came to me
With the saddest look
I had ever seen
with Tears in His eyes
He went on to say
"You passed me by"
"And forgot to pray"
"I needed you"
"That very day"
"But you passed me by"
"And forgot to pray"
"As time went on"
"You went your own way"
"And you passed me by"
"And forgot to pray"
"Your life's too busy"
"Filled with stuff"
"Too busy for me"
"So that's enough"
"Now it's been so long"
"I don't know your name"
"Away you must go"
"Into Eternal Flame"
